The Office of the Vice-President for Graduate Studies at the Federal Rural University of Pernambuco - PRPG/UFRPE announces a new date for the Inaugural Lecture of the Stricto Sensu Graduate Program.
The lecture will be held on September 6, Friday, at 10 am, in the CEGOE Amphitheater.
Professor Dr. Antônio Carlos Pavão, full professor of the Chemistry Department at UFPE, guest speaker, will give the lecture "Dissemination of science and social inclusion of Graduate Studies". In the words of Prof. Antônio Pavão, "scientific dissemination is today an area of knowledge, but its origin is closely linked to the birth of modern science. Thus, disseminating science is a requirement of scientific activity, but today it has become an urgent task in view of the denialism that stains and threatens our society. Hence the need for the involvement of Graduate Studies in the dissemination and popularization of its scientific production."
